Maison Martin Margiela x H&M Ads + lookbook

 

Although I was pretty enthousiastic when I first heard of H&M newest designer collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela, I must say that I am less so now.. I think it’s all a bit too much oversized silhouettes, especially for real life. Because, yes… designer-work is art, but the whole point of collaborating with a high-street brand such as H&M is, in my point of view, to translate the fashion into more day-to-day wear for affordable prices. Yes, there definitely are some good pieces to be found in the collection, however.. I am not really all-set to go sleep in front of the H&M entrance in order to be able to grasp a piece. What do you think?
