Miami diaries
Seeing these photos again makes me wanna go back so badly. We had an amaaazing time there, clubbing, resting on the beach and a little shopping along the way and spotting palm trees (my favourite trees!) isn’t that bad of a way to spend your days. If you’re considering to go there yourself, make sure to check out the Miami Beach International Traveler’s Hostel, it has been chosen as one of the 10 best party hostels in the world (!! something we discovered during our stay, haha), and they made sure we had the best stay ever. Nothing’s better than spending Christmas Eve on the beach with some wine and pizza (next to the hostel, most delicious pizza in the world!), for example, as you can see in the first photos with some karaoke with the rest of the hostel afterwards. Miami stole my heart <3
Outfit 1801’13 | Revamping yourself
Jeans – H&M S/S ’13 | coat – H&M (last year) | boots – Primark
Sometimes life’s simply better when acting like a diva. I put my fur coat on, my berry red lipstick on, dipped my nails in some vampy polish and added some leopard print and some bronzer on my face. Bronzer. In the winter. Yes. Just couldn’t accept that my sunkissed skin is fading back to pale pink again, I cannot completely say goodbye to Miami just yet.
The leopard jeans actually is one of my favourite pieces from H&M’s spring collection. Didn’t expect it to be in stores already but I was pleasantly surprised when I found it on the racks last weekend!
Have a wonderful Saturday!

Manicure in China Town

Nailpolish – Wicked by Essie | lipstick – Catrice no. 100 | watch – Michael Kors
In China Town, we decided to go for a relaxed afternoon and deserved to treat ourselves with a manicure. I loooove the dark Essie colour that I picked and immediately afterwards bought a small bottle myself. Also, the lipstick that I borrowed from a friend is the most perfect colour red ever on my face, and I was determined to buy it as soon as I got back home in the Netherlands.. unfortunately it is taken out of the collection and therefore not sold anymore
Can I cry, please! Every girl knows that the perfect shade of red is so, SO difficult to find…
Favourites new Supertrash collection
I love browsing through new collections and selecting my favourites. Now that spring collections are hitting the stores, I will frequently upload a selection of my favourites from a certain store or brand. Supertrash is deliciously on trend with their designs: whites, reds and pinks, florals and still that awesome hint towards the whole cowgirl and western scene, introduced by Isabel Marant some seasons ago and still going pretty strong. Also, most items from the collection are perfect to wear all together. Would looove to wear the shorts together with the nude jacket and hat, for example!
Breakfast at Tiffany’s
On our last day in New York, I just HAD to fulfill one of my long-term dreams. Ever since I read (yes read! Far before the television series was around) the Gossip Girl novels, I wanted to experience my very own ‘Tiffany’s’ (and with Blair’s obsession with old movies and Audrey Hepburn, also the ‘breakfast’ part of it) feeling. So, we did it. We took the ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ pictures, I bought a bagel and started posing in front of the Tiffany & Co. window. Red lipstick applied, ballerina bun in my hair, let the staring begin! And stares we got.. well ok. I’ll admit it, it must be kinda comical and hilarious to see girls actually reproducing the whole scene, it must have been EXTREMELY touristy, but we didn’t care. I got my photos (which I think is incredibly cool, haha!) AND my very first Tiffany’s purchase, I went for the characteristic (and cheapest! haha!) ‘Return to Tiffany’s’ charm, which I will attach to a bracelet. Nothing that could sweep the smile off my face that day.
