The day after Thanksgiving marks the day that Americans officially can get crazy over the upcoming holidays. Christmas… One week ago, when we were in Chicago (photos are yet to come), all Christmas trees were set up and every self-respecting store/restaurant/hotel plays Christmas songs now. Today, we went to Frankenmuth, a town here in Michigan dedicated to its German roots. There was German food, lots of touristy gear and other fun things to buy… And… the world’s largest Christmas store! It was insanely huge and we’ve seen literally EVERYTHING to decorate your christmas tree with: sports related decorations (football, swimming, bowling (!!), lacrosse, baseball….), a complete zoo, hamburgers, donuts, french fries and lots of other foods…CUPCAKES, Santa Claus on a surf board for those who live in parts where it is bloody hot during Christmas and, my favourites: nutcrackers. Ever since I watched ‘The Nutcracker’ I have a crush on them❤
